Use Brownell keel stands in place of conventional wood blocks. Use one keel stand for each 10,000lb / 4,550kg of vessel weight, spaced evenly along the keel. Always use a minimum of two keel stands. Boats should be stored on a flat, even surface. On softer surfaces, a wash plate is recommended under the base of each keel stand. Use Boat Stands to stabilize the vessel.
